It's a color-changing Bic pen. Yes, it can be done in the real world, it just need one extra move which was hard to do on camera so I didn't show it. It's not that good but hey, it's worth a try.

nuthin personal but if u look at it closely it may be edited, but if i am wrong then i am very sorry but these effects like JB said have to be able to be used in your routine.
