I've been working as a magician at a haunted house for a few years. My character is primarily silent, which limits the effects I can perform. My usual performance list includes a few card tricks, simple one coin routines, sponge balls, rubber bands, ring routines, and the human blockhead. I've been trying to add to my list for a while. Anybody have any suggestions for effects/stunts that can be performed without talking? Ideally impromptu.

What's your character/persona/style of performance?

Sideshow and geek magic have a lot to offer that would fit well into a haunted house environment. I used to do things like razor blade swallowing/threading, Through and Through, Human Blockhead, and Bed of Nails.

If you're not going spooky then ... like ... 50% of the market fits "can be done silently and impromptu".
