Hello Guys!!!
this is my first review ever...so I´ll try to be as good as posible
First Thoughts....Ok so I ordered the black limited edition and my first impression when opening the package is...I don´t think this is the black edition, since I expected to be...well... black!! also is not hard-cover...then I remembered that this was sent as a thank you for your patience due to the delay of the Black edition, from WH and JF and then in February I´ll receive the Black Edition...so...COOLIO!!!
Quality...well, the first impression is that it looks nice, the impression is good quality and it will look nice in my bookshelf, the paper of the cover is more thick and bright than the interior.
Contents...the first part of the book is the graphic novel of the performance...I have to confess that this would be my ideal performance in a club...the art somehow looks to me like Max Payne, the game not the movie, since while is showing the pictures, the text shows what Max is thinking, those who have played know what I mean...
The second part is the explanation and a li´l interview with WH and Dana Hocking, then the explanation comes in a series of pictures detailing the sleights and the moves...
The third Part is the extras, it explains the subtitles (spell check) of Sinful...like chossing the right cans and the motivation behind some moves...then comes an alternate handling of the effect that is very good for people who already know the effect....after that comes a little comic by Dana Hocking...
all along the book is little extras like an introduction by Banachek and WH and drawing that show how awesome is the mind of JF in the way of interpreting ideas and thoughts with drawings
DVD: Great Quality as always..is packed with performances that maybe we have seen before as well as new ones and a interview with WH...and some extras
Final Thoughts
the book is great! is an awesome read and will look great along my DC comics of Blackest Night...but the Black Edition will be in a very special place...and I can´t wait to receive it...this is the way the booklet I´m writing I think should look...The Panik Manifesto...
