So I am comfortable with most of the material I have now, (the most part being the parts I will actually use from the DVDs/books.) And I am allowed to buy one more thing for a while.

Im debating between the Advocate and The Paper Engine. For those of you wondering if it's still availiable, I checked d+m's site and it let me potentiall buy it. Anyway, I have read reviews on both products and both sound amazing. If anyone has either one or both of these, any advice on which one to get for the time being is much appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

I really enjoy aarons stuff, and I dont have any of d+m's material, but this looks incredible. I would say I like visual (gimmie) and practial. Like I enjoy effects where stuff is justified either as a given or with little explaination, I hate for the audience to be confused as to whats going on. (And its not my patter than confuses them.)

That help any?

I do not own paper engine but I only have heard great stuff a bout it, I do own and use the Advocate daily and love it, it allows you to really test your imagination, or practice phych forces without worry that you will miss, if your more into mentalism with cards or want a invisable deck or brainwave deck you perfrom with your normal deck, go with advocate, it can do soo much more, the possibllities are litteraly endless. If you want jaw dropping card magic and good sleights go with paper engine (from what I heard haha)

Haha dang, its hard to choose, (if only we could combine them....hmmm.....)
I have an invisible deck and love it, but it can be a hassle carrying around two decks (invisible and regular.)
The gimmick is easy to carry around right? thats what ive heard at least

Ill say somethign quick about "the Paper Engine" before I go to school.

It's my favourite book so far, and it weights gold not only because of the tricks, or sleights (wich are really really good, most of my routines involves the GHP in someway) is the advice that gives to you as a magician that weights gold.

Anyway, we shouldt be telling you what to choose, you already said that you llike visual stuff,(gimmicked) in my opinion, go for the advocate.

Yes the gimmick is reasonably easy to carry around. In face, almost exactly the same as an invisible deck if not less portable.

Advocate is basically the same as carrying around two decks. The only difference is, Advocate requires a decent sized pocket (anything that's not skinny jeans small); whereas an invisible deck can be carried in anything that fits a deck, no matter how small.

I can also vouch for Aaron's book, though. In the long run, I'd go for Paper Engine, I think it will teach you more. However, Advocate is a very nice idea with a lot of creative potential.
