Stage Showmanship

I am developing a stage show at the moment (Inspired by Joshua Jay's Close up, up close as far as the presentation goes but more illusion orientated.) I was wondering if anyone could suggest any good books on stage showmanship (something equivalent to Darwin Ortiz's Strong Magic) also any inspiration for dream-like effects is very much welcome.

Thanks very much

You might like "The Stein and Day Handbook of Magic." It talks about showmanship and lots of performing advice and stage presentation. The person how wrote the book is a children's magic so near the end, he has like his whole routine written out. I got a lot out of this book.
