Is there a story here? I couldn't understand what was said on the phone, so I don't know if there was a reason that you climbed onto the roof.

Personally, that staticy effect is really annoying, especially when used that much. Video effects should enhance things, not just be there for the sake of being there.

Also, this seems like half a video. It may just be that you cut it off halfway through the line of the song playing, but it seems like you were going somewhere with it, but then ran out of film or something.

I'm not a fan, yet, but it has potential.

I know this has already been said but this feels like half a video. I would expand it to maybe to full song and the static got really annoying, definatally take some of it out.

Casey,
It was good to mediocre. I'm not bashing any of your flourishing because I am not into flourishing. You'd blow me away. Ha Ha.

I was just looking at it from a video editing stand point and I think you can do better. You have basic ground work but it needs some more work. It seemed to be rushed and overkill on the static special FX.

I'd like to see you update it some more and repost in a few days to see progress.

Well, I don't understand what the phone said. But the video is nice.:D

It will be better if I can listen to the full song.

i thought it was overall pretty good! i think you did overkill the static in the video but for me, it was kinda cool. flourishes were good, and everything else just wowed me.

peace,

zdog

I agree. It was alright but not great.

I honestly didn't like the static effect... It made my eyes hurt... Flourishes were... well better than me, but that's not saying much seeing I'm pretty bad at it. But I think it was pretty good. The end felt abrupt... leaving more to be desired... I don't know if that's what you were aiming, I guess.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses and feedback!

Although I just left you with a video to watch, it is a cliffhanger. I am filming more and more footage for the full-length video. That was just a sample video of what is to come later. I am taking out most of the static effects, but since it was named Static I thought adding static would fit it, but I guess it doesn't (haha). But thanks everyone for your honest responses, you guys have been a great help!

Cheers,

Casey

It's not that it doesn't fit in, it's that you overused it. Think of it as an accent, not the main paint job.

all in modesty... perhaps you can just make it "mildly" fuzzy? I don't know. I think it was just... too seizure bringing for me...
