Hey everybody.
I was just wondering hwo you guys keep your cards straight. This is mostly for the people that don't have porpers ( I have yet to get one ). I heard some people put them under heavy books and other methods. But I'm looking for a method that actually works. Recently I bought a bunch of guardians and split spades lions from my shop (Morrissey's Magic Shop) and right out of the box they were all warped so I wasn't too happy. So I decided to put them under some text-books and see if they would (hopefully) get straight again. No luck and it's been 2 days straight. So just loooking for some methods.

Thanks!

Also when they bcome bent inwards or in a certain direction or vice versa like if you turn over the top card on the deck and then if you look at it eye level it's not even completly on the deck
kinda like a U shape.

Hmmm...heavy books should do the trick. Maybe they are not heavy enough?

But I brought a clamp set from a store for less than $5.00.

I put the deck between two pieces of plastic (or you can use whatever you want) and them apply the clamps.

That usually works for me.

;D

not heavy enough

put your sofa on top, or a heavy table leg or your tv or computer monitor or just put the book on your chair and sit on your book

Hahaha, EugeneSoh. Um, well, you will never get a completely FLAT deck. All decks have a natural bow in them. Like, have you seen Andrei's cards? They are like a perfect "U". I think you just have to get used to it. If not, porper clip is the way to go.

Take the top card and insert in into the deck. I had several decks such as Bees, Wynns, Ghost, Black Ghost etc that were completely flat.

By the way- if anyone is interested in buying a card press like the one above, the first one will be up on Ebay within the next month or so. I'll post a link here for those who are interested... PM me if you are!
