Technique vs. Universal Impression

UI is an impression pad where as technique is a method for figuring out what was written. They are bother very good but each of them has their strengths and weakness. A good impression pad is great but you there is so much more to reading minds then peeking information.

get both UI is deff worth the price use it all the time. tecnique is cool too worth the money somewhat. just buy em both total worth it.

That is very naive of you.
UI is an impression device that is very easy to use allowing you to have more room for presentation in a close up enviroment, Technique alots you the opportunity to read the mind of your spectator without the use of a gimmick but it only works on numbers not letters. Both are very strong effects and nothing short of brilliant and that comes from using both of them in my show daily.

Thank you everyone so far with your replies. In the Technique description, it says it can accomplish "Impromptu drawing duplication of simple shapes". What exactly does this mean and how does it compare to the drawings that can be revealed in UI (such as, in the trailer, a rainbow with clouds)?

What Shane said is wrong you can do letters with Technique. As for the simple pictures all you can really draw is a simple shapes it would get too confusing anything more than that. ESP symbols work great with it.
Correction....yes you can do letters it's just more complicated then numbers and less fool proof. The concept has been around for years but Mathew took the concept and ran with it simplifying its use for the common performer.
