Well, apart from flashing the DL, yes it has been done many times before. It's actually a side steal done with two cards.

I would also suggest not being quick to put a name on a move if you haven't done the proper research to ensure it is in fact original.

Bad lighting and looked like a standard Side Steal... Which I am sure I saw Paul Cummings teach on his DVD and am pretty sure Marlo probably described it in his book.

The change it self just seemed stiff has a board and didn't really look like anything amazing happened, and I am sure most spectators would end up bored to tears looking at, as well as magicians too.
