A small object is vanished from the hands.... display your wallet, showing an empty license window... Visually, the object appears within the window of the wallet and tipped into the hands of the spectator.
- Beginner level
- Two minutes to make with every day house hold objects
- Instant reset - Any small object
- Perfect for walk-around
- Self contained
- Visual
From Lloyd Barnes comes The Con, a self contained visual miracle perfect for the walk around magician. Includes multiple handlings and bonus ideas.
From Disturb Reality comes a new coin to wallet that is amazing and visual. I really had never seen a coin to wallet at all. This is a very effective trick that I have used and will continue to use. It's gimmicked a fair bit, and requires some misdirection. But if you're a magician, you can pull it off.
The speed at which the coin can appear in your wallet is extraordinary. It reminds me of the visual aspect of Extreme Burn. You don't even have to have any cover whatsoever. Shake and it shall appear. It slides out of the window and can be kept.
And, yes, the secret lies in the wallet, but no attention will be drawn towards it after the effect's completion. The stun factor of this is that big. It's a great effect that's excellent for street magic, as you can borrow someone's quarter at the beginning and give it back to them at the end.
Plus, it only costs about $5.50 US. What more do you want?
Lloyd's teaching is very thorough and direct. He goes over what you need and how to build it, and then the routine itself. The important points are nailed. The video quality is great, not quite super-duper 1080p HD land, but it's great to watch. He teaches a very basic coin vanish to begin with, and then goes into the routine, and then finishes it all up.
I love this and it's a great deal. In my mind it gets an 8/10, because of its superior construction, but the missing points are for the wallet, because occasionally a problem might arise. But it shouldn't take away from the effect itself in any way.
The effect can be seen here It's the first thing I perform.
Thank you Lloyd. Great effect.
BOTTOM LINE: If you're into coin magic and often work in casual environments, this is a treat.
