They have Bikes, which is very different from being familiar with Bikes. Two different things my friend, and I have yet to be shown personal proof to the contrary.

Lets leave it at you are right, and I will agree for the sake of not arguing, that I am totally wrong. Most Austrailians are totally unfamiliar with the standard Rider Back Bicycle Deck cards which have been sold and distributed around the world for 120 years.

Alright two points-

1. I don't own a karnavile deck but maybe it's just a new deck and they feel really good? (sounds like there the same as bikes).

2. No deck can be discribed as normal, they make gimmick bycicle decks and gaff card. At the same time ive seen gaff decks for other decks of cards ive never even herd of. At the end of the day, cards are cards, its how you present and preform that raises the suspition of "fixed" decks.

Honestly, I have people ask me if it's a trick deck with standard bikes far more often than with any other deck.

With other decks, I mostly just hear something about how cool the design is.

Everyone's gonna have a different scenario for the whole Trick Deck thing. You know why? WE ALL PERFORM FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE!

People in Ohio aren't like people in Minnesota. People in Washington aren't like people in New Zealand. (Get ready for the extremely exaggerated example) If you show a guy in the depths of Africa Tivo 2.0, he's gonna look at you like you're an idiot before he convulses and rises off the ground. Doesn't mean the same things gonna happen in L.A. (Althought it is L.A. ... So it is infact quite possible.) If you've performed in North Dakota for five years, and you've had no problems, that in no way shape or form means that if you suddenly go to England, you won't have problems. Then again, things could go great. What I mean, is that none of this is a one way deal. If it's one way for you, doesn't mean it's the same way for everyone else.

Point is, it's not always about how you handle the cards or what the cards look like. Sometimes, it's just the people. It's natural human psyche to judge & make assumptions before we know anything. It's called Ignorance and on some level referred to as, stupid.

(In an attempt to get myself on track about the cards.)

I actually have a deck of Karnivals with me right now. The only thing about these cards is that the edges need to be smoothed out. From what i'm told you can use D&D's Smoother from AndThenSome to fix that little problem. The cards themselves feel a little thinner than normal bikes. The only thing visually different about this deck is the backs and the ace (excluding the jokers).

A nice skeletal twist from naked cherubs on bicycles. (I just don't imagine that being comfortable for them is all.)
