The Master - Candidate

Hi guys. One of my friend become a candidate in a TV show called "The Master".
It's like Britain's Got Talent but everyone perform magic in that show.
The problem is, his parent doesn't let him to go to perform in that show because he got a martial art competition in the same time as the show.
But, my friend really wants to perform in "The Master".

Any advices?

FYI: He already won a few titles in the martial art competition.

he needs to have a heart to hear with his family so they can truly see how passionate he is about magic....its nothing we really can do....sorry.....if his parent do the right thing, he will be performing magic on that show...

Well what matters to him most? Hate to be rude but it's his life and he shouldn't be forced to go to the one he doesn't want to go.

He said to me that he wants to be on "The Master" because it's once in a lifetime opportunity.

I also feel that his parent supposed to let him decide it by himself. But, his parent won't listen. That's why I post this topic on Theory11 so he can make some good arguments with his parent.
