There is an effect called 'The Queens' that is taught on the trilogy tricks dvd. Most of you probably already know this.
The final vanish (where he shakes the deck and it disappears) is part of the performance. But in the explanation teaches you a different method of vanishing the last queen where he slaps his hand ontop of the deck instead. I know that they are probably very similiar and the queen definitly ends up in the same place with both methods, but does anyone know why they did this? and is there a name for the move he uses in the performance, and possibly somewhere i can learn it?

This has been discussed in many threads. The move used is an unreleased move called the Clip Shift. It was created by Chad Nelson, and will be taught in his upcoming DVD 'Surfaced.'
