The Table Shift

In a video i saw on Scarne (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRS35gyhbqw) showed him doing the "Table Shift" which was a shift/false cut.

Can this technique be learned anywhere? I know he discusses it in his book "Scarne on Cards" but he does not actually teach a method for it just acknowledges it.

There are a few places. There are two different versions if I remember correctly, depending on which way the cards are cut.

I believe they are both in Weapons of the Card Shark by Jeff Wessmiller. He does some things quite well, others, not so well. Its a good DVD to learn just the techniques, but Jeff should have definitely waited a few years until he had them all down a little better before putting the DVD set out.

A shift similar to this is the Zingzone "Perfect Table Pass" from Expert Card Technique, starts on bottom of page 39.

Check out Vernon's Revelations (I think)... Really good table shift in there.

Also, I believe the annotated Erdnase goes over some techniques.

I might be wrong but I thought Richard Turner also taught this on one of his DVDs...

Just watch it a few times and then practice and you will get it.
