theory11 Bicycle Rider Back

All I know is that ordering the bicycle decks from theory11 has been the cheapest choice for me. It's near impossible to find bicycle decks in Sweden and if you do they're at outrageous prices like 5-6 dollars each.

So basically, if you are international, Theory11 all the way!

If not, stick to Costco.

WOO!

The main point of my posts, if you read them, was to say that if you don't have a Costco, if you are international, or are living in the USA and can't find the deals that some people can, theory11 is the way to go when buying in bulk. I was never "attacking" or "putting up a fight", and i never wanted to "win", I'm just giving the knowledge that I know that works best for me and some members who don't have the great deals I listed above.

Just to side with my boys, Exomagic.net has killer rates on U.S. (free over $60) and International shipping (which is cheaper than Theory11 international shipping rates) and you ALWAYS get a 10% discount off the final checkout price AND they offer all Theory11 cards for the same price as Theory11. This is not the argument here though.

For me Wal-Mart is still the best option. Others have said that the 2-pack of Bikes is only seasonal. I am not saying I disagree with any of you I am only saying, for the past 3 years, every Wal-Mart I have been to (even Wal-Marts in other states driving from Illinois to Florida) has had the 2-pack for $2 and that is and always will be cheaper than Theory11s Bikes.

UPDATE!

I am on walgreens.com and looking at prices for Bikes. Plain Jane red and blue standard back Bikes are $3.49 a deck BUT they are buy one deck get one deck free and are eligible for free shipping to your door step. $3.49 for 2 decks means that they are $1.75 a deck (cheaper than Theory11). For 4 bricks (48 decks) of Bikes from Walgreens it would cost you just under $84 compared to the over $100 from Theory11 and you will still be getting your cards shipped directly to your doorstep.

There is no arguing the prices listed on a website for everyone to see.

SHOP AROUND BEFORE YOU BUY PEOPLE!

Whatever the case may be for you, it can definitely be different for someone else. I'm taking into consideration the people not in USA, who can't find good deals and just want a deck of bikes. Take ElakPistol's post for example. In Sweden, buying from theory11 is the best deal when buying Bicycles. It's always different for everyone. I'm not in any way forcing people to buy them here from theory11; buy wherever you want. I'm just explaining the deals we have in an appropriate manner.

It never was a "debate"; I was just trying to prove a point from my perspective.

I understand that. That's why I put the word "debate" in quotes. When reading the posts, it looked like an argument to me. That is, until you said that it wasn't. And still when Shindrichs last posted there was still that feeling of hostility. So it seemed like an argument that could've been over a while ago.

Completely agree. I was never arguing at all, just stating facts. I didn't want others to take it like it was an argument either, but unfortunately it did.

Same. I was only stating facts. Never got "hostile". I am the type of person that shops around for the best deal. I will never settle for paying 30 bucks more for something if I don't have to. In this case I do not have to. No one in America has to. If you read some of my other posts in other threads I will ALWAYS find the best deal when it comes to most things magic.

I do wish I could help out the people that do not live in America, but the best I can do is mention Exomagic.net and tell you to shop around before settling with one particular shop. You might find that one certain shop sells magic accessories or dvds cheaper than anywhere else, but another shop sells books cheaper than the first shop, while a completely different shop sells cards cheaper than the other two shops.

ExoMagic has terrible navigation and search options. I searched "Bicycle Playing Cards" and it came up with over 2,000 results. I scrolled through and I couldn't find what I was looking for, even after typing in what I wanted. After 10 pages, I was sick of scrolling through more. Save the hassle by clicking only 2 times, once on "Cards" and once on "Bicycle" here. I would also list reasons why I wouldn't buy from Exo from past experiences, but It wouldn't be respectful posting it on an open forum.

UPDATE:

ExoMagic does not sell Bicycles cheaper than theory11. Their price is $3.25 a deck, and 48 Bicycles from them are $156.00 with free shipping. Even with the 10% off discount, you still pay a lot less here at theory11.

I love how Sam suddenly thinks that because he's hot stuff with a new Vanishing Inc download underway, he has the right to come in here and use up a page and a half trying to undermine t11's prices. Nobody buys 355 bricks of cards, Sam, so your point isn't really that relevant. For bulk, yes, but I doubt you'd walk into Costco and buy 355 bricks in packs of 2. The most people order at a time is 2 grosses (288 decks), and very few do that.

If you had problems with Exomagic you would be the only person I have heard of having a bad experience with them. This linked thread is full of nothing but compliments. http://forums.theory11.com/showthread.php?27514-ExoMagic-Site&highlight=exomagic

I agree that the store is a mess right now. I have nothing to do with that. If you read on the homepage the store is under construction. I am only giving an option to customers that are over seas.

The way the store was before all you had to do was click the links labeled "cards" and "bicycle". The way the store is set up right now is not user friendly and the search engine works the same as Murphy's Magic search engine. The way the search engine is set up right now, to find Bicycle Rider Back playing cards, you have to search "Bicycle playing cards poker (red)".

Actually I wasn't running anyone down or undermining anyone. I am stating facts. The fact that I used 355 is relevant because Casey stated that the more you buy the cheaper your final shipping price will be. The reason I used the number 355 bricks is because it is the largest number of playing cards Theory11s cart would allow me to buy, meaning with that amount of cards you should get the best deal on shipping per Casey's statement. Casey said that Theory11 is the place to get bulk Bicycle playing cards. He said the more you buy the cheaper the final price would be. I proved that statement to be false.

I was only trying to help. Never tried to run anyone down. This is a public forum that I contribute to, meaning having or not having a Vanishing Inc deal takes no part in my input on this topic. I would have still responded the same way. There was nothing "sudden" about anything. I have been a member of this forum long before I started thinking about putting magic out on the market.

As stated before the ExoMagic shop is under construction as are the prices for everything, but I never said anything about actual prices. I said ExoMagic has cheaper shipping rates.

Does Exo offer Bicycles for $1.89? No, they sell them for $3.25. They are in no way the same price. Even with that 10% off discount, you still get them cheaper here. I saw the price of Bicycles on Exo before they went "under construction" and they were still $3.25. Prices haven't changed. Also, about the international rates, it would still be cheaper because the prices of the decks are cheaper here than on Exo.

Over the holidays last year, we started a promotion that cuts down shipping dramatically if you order over a certain amount. Once your order subtotal surpasses $75.00, the discounted shipping rates kick into effect. Add some stuff to your cart and you can see it happen. It will change from "Standard Shipping" to "Standard Shipping (Discounted)."

I never said the more you add the cheaper your order will be, I'm saying the shipping is a lot less if you pass the $75 threshold. Of course the shipping for 355 bricks is going to be a lot, because it's a LOT of weight. You can't sell that much stuff and ship it for a low price. It's inevitable it will be a high price for shipping that much. But most people buy maybe 2 or 3 gross as bulk, not 355 bricks.

I am going to drop the Exo argument because arguing about prices that you can't see is pointless.

Onto things we can see. Every scenario you have thrown at me, whether it be 1 brick, 4 bricks, a gross, 2 grosses or 355 bricks, Wal-Mart is still cheaper that Theory11. I have proven this. Then you told me that all Wal-Marts are not the same price for bikes and they don't all have the same deals as far as 2-packs, so I priced Bikes on walgreens.com. Walgreens was a substantial amount cheaper than Theory11 and everyone in America can get Bikes from Walgreens for the same price shipped to their doorstep.

Do international people get decks from Walgreens? No, they don't. If you read all my posts carefully, the main target was people who are international and can't find the great deals here. Not everyone has the 2 pack deals, therefore in total, theory11 is cheaper than Walmart when it comes to buying bulk. Also, Walmart doesn't sell bricks of cards. They only have maybe 10 decks at most on the racks in most places.
