How's it going everybody? I had an idea a few months ago... now I am beginning to see this idea grow and become something more than I ever intended! Would you mind letting me know if you have seen anything like this anywhere... Thus far in the magic world I have learned that pretty much everything has been thought of many times before you.. Sooo I'm just curious as to where it has been done before this time! I truly appreciate your time! Also, please let me know if it looks good.

P.S. please read the description in the info box if you are interested in more info about the move.

It looks like somewhat of a reverse pass, but it's a bit different I think. I'm not quite sure though, maybe a more knowledgable card mechanic can pitch in!

Well, I'm not sure.. lol. Before today I would have said no I'm definitely not doing a Herman Pass, But according to Aaron Fisher A herman pass can be done with 1-51 cards... sooo... maybe.. lol. I personally haven't studied the herman pass so my thinking in the move didn't involve that at all..

Originally, I wanted to have a way to get a card from the bottom to the top because using the clipshift just wasn't natural enough for me. Soo... The lightbulb came on as I happened to be practicing the orbit control lol. So, I put two and two together and this is what I came up with. Basically the mechanics are like the orbit control, only you would just take 1-4 cards from the bottom. I don't know if you read the description in the actual video, but in live performances this works wonders! I have the list of applications for it on the video as well if you would like to see it. Overall, I have to say I use this move in pretty much every performance now. I thought it may be original but it's not looking that way haha. I should have known. *palms face*

But it looks good you say? If I had a fancy video like Dan and Dave would you wanna buy it lol?

Thank you for your time.

Not bad, but you're not smooth and because of that the stress is on a huge cover and the fingerwork of your deck hand is still seen. If the mechanics really are like the Orbit control, you should be able to perform it smoothly and naturally, you just need more practice.

You are going to need to find someone you trust who really knows a lot about passes, then tip the method to him/her to get your answer. You do it pretty well but it doesn't look like anything new to me. That doesn't mean it isn't new but the whole point of pass work is that it is as invisible as possible. Thus, you can never really say if it is something new until you tip the method.

That's good advice. I will definitely do that! Thank you everyone for the help!

From your description, it sounds like you're pulling a few cards down off the bottom then proceeding into the one-card middle pass (or orbit control, or w/e you call it), so it's a hermann pass with a few cards, instead of around half the deck.
