Hey everyone, today I would like to share this story that happened to me at school today because it made my day and really made me feel good all over.
So I was in my history class today and my teacher came up to me and told me that she would like to talk to me about something that she's really interested. My history teacher knows that I'm a member of the magic castle and that I go to meeting and probably met some young magicians who would eventually grow to become a star in the future. She told me that yesterday she was going through different channels on her tv and came across a show called Make Believe, which features teen magicians from different parts of the world competing in Vegas at one of the largest magic competition in the world. My teacher saw the part where they talk about the magic castle and asked me different things about the place in front of the whole class; how long I've been a member, what it takes to be in a club, and whether or not I wanted to compete in Vegas and become a future star, and a whole lot of other questions. She then asked the whole class whether or not anyone knew that I'm a member and nobody raised their hand, then people started to ask me questions and all eyes were on me because they realized how important and well known the magic castle is and it's like the center for all professional magicians. My teacher told me that she saw a magician named Krystyn Lambert and said that she's a "Britney Spears of magic", she asked me if I knew her and I said that I did.
Then my teacher asked me to do some magic in front of the class, I performed four effects including static by david jade, I performed static two times and the whole class reactions when they see the deck move and the card shoots out three feet away from the deck were priceless. Another effect that I did was a card effect by Cameron Francis and a mind reading effect with a spelling kicker. Today's experience made me realize why I love doing magic so much and how everyone can get to know my magic without me going around and telling people. Now I'm really excited to watch the film because a lot of people will be able to experience magic like ever before, and without Make Believe, I wouldn't be able to get a chance tell people about magic castle, why I love magic, and a whole bunch of other things that I've been wanting to share with people for so long and experience what I just did today.
Thank you everyone for reading and let's all keep the art of magic alive!
