hey you guys, im going to be shooting a flourishing video real soon and I am doing a black drop, and i just have a qucik question.

where is the best place to put the lights?
Right above you or infront, or to the side even though with a b-drop it would only light up half from the side haha.

well answering this would be greatly appreciated

I have no expirence in this sort of thing, but I'd say in front, so you don't cast downward shadows. Try a little all around if you can.

I'd say in front to avoid shadows. good luck with your filming.

You should have at least two lights. Place one in front, and to the right, and the other in front and to the left a few feet farther away the the other.

The closer one will be the main light source, and the other will be the "fill" light, filling in the shadows.
