Hey guys, I need some help.
I like filming stuff so I got a nice camera to use and the video come out nice and clear on the camera, and when I put it on my computer, it also has good video quality on it. But when I put it on youtube, the quality sucks.
It shows up all pixelated.
Do you think it's my editor? I'm using Windows Movie Maker.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

no it's the new youtube. they made the screens wider so the resolution is terrible. there is some way to make it hd but i don't know. it's worse for me because my camera already has terrible quality. it's not your program, so don't worry.

Even though I'm on the phone with you right now, I'm still going to make a post. I use Windows Movie Maker and it is fine. Try uploading to Vimeo.

Vimeo > Youtube.

Youtube = EPIC FAIL!

I like pizza. Its awesome.

When you want to export your video from WMM, Try to select the best quality for playback on your computer, as well as the best quality (usually HD).

This is an important step which is usually dismissed!

WMM will choose the best quality for your viewing, which might translate differently on internet media browsers :)

If all else fails - go for Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere (or Final Cut if your on a Mac). They offer awesome editing and quality ;)

Me too

I have posted my vids on several sites, all of which come out pretty good, ACCEPT for Youtube. So the problem is more than likely not your video, but Youtube yourself. But still, my vids are still acceptable to watch on Youtube. AlI upload them in the MPEG format, so maybe you could try that. Also, sometimes youll see in the corner of the video "Click here to watch video in high quality", & sometimes that does the trick.
