I'm not really sure what to tell you guys, to be honest I didn't really like either.

It has to be noted that magicman1212's sleight of hand was crisp and very impressive. Similarly, eclipse1400 has to be congratulated for using patter.

Now, the other part. Firstly eclipse... You need to know your patter better, basically. There was downtime - moments you were thinking, stumbling, or otherwise doing nothing, and to be completely honest it destroyed the magic, it didn't feel magical at all, it felt like an 8 year old YouTube kid fumbling with cards - which is disappointing, because I can see that your sleight of hand is far better than that. But, presentation makes the magic.

In a different way, the same has to be said of magicman's video... It was impressive in its sleight of hand, but really... Well, I don't mind music over magic videos. BUT - to have text over music over magic videos I think is silly. If you need text, it means you need words, and if you need words for this effect (and for some, you don't)... If you really feel the need for words to explain what's going on in an effect, well then regardless of sleight of hand - that's a great video, but what does that music have to do with anything, and why are there words floating on screen, you know what I mean? With only words over music I felt very detached and uninterested from the effect, and I have to question whether the admittedly impressive and superior sleight of hand could be replicated under real performance conditions.

I abstained.
