ok mainly my question is, say, im supposed to have two jokers in a deck (normal) and as far as the spectator is concerned there are two jokers, but in reality there are three used in an effect, does that count as a gimmick? mainly i need to know for if i use the effect in a battle so i know if i can use it in a battle that says "no gimmicks"

Dude.... Its an extra card not a gimmick. Its a dupe its not a gimmick. Well i wouldnt consider it one anyway.

Well if it is a huge thing to use this effect in a no gimmick battle why don't you clear it with the person you are battling.
