What's the proper order for Healed n' Sealed

What do you all think?

I would love to hear a very thought out reason why to perform this effect in either order. Do you think you should seal the lid first, then expand the can. Or do some of you have better success with expanding the can first then doing the seal?

This is the way I do it:

before the super critics get on my case, yes I know I should've sealed it better. And the beer was frozen (a fact I didn't know) so I couldn't pour out anymore. With the beer being as frozen as it was, it couldn't expand the can fast enough.

Expand the can and then reseal the lid. Doesn't make much sense the other way around.

I would say the other way around seal then heal. Seems pointless to have the can "fill up"without a seal to build up pressure that causes the expanson

Seal the can first! by "filling" the can first you're forced to seal it and then immediately open the can. by sealing the can and then opening it back up it seems to sort of remove some of the magic. the sealing and pouring become more of one phase. By sealing the can first you then move away from the seal to the filling stage of the trick which allows you to then move back to the seal when you open it and pour out the liquid! it gives the trick three solid phases as opposed to just two! also this way makes the filling of the can kind of a building moment, the sealing is more of a "yeah that just happened" moment, and the open and pour is a built up climax!!

I'm with Jeff on this one. What is more magical, having a sealed can expand or having an open can heal itself? Healing and then sealing also better disguises the method. Heal it, seal it and then fill it to round out the routine.

. I would ageee. I think people will be much further from the method of an open can heals itself.

Yeah I just love this trick, no matter how you perform it. Each way is very magical and also has pretty much the same out in all spectators mind...some sort of device that is filling the can.
