not a bad trick. seems good if you beefed up the effect a lot more.
it has massive potential to be really powerful.
Though the method isn't exactly the best, it fools magicians well. Very... Banacheky in my opinion.
Buff out the effect more so that it hits harder.
What you did was just. "oh cool...."
but you want a "OMG WTF?"
Why not make it a phone number revelation which acts as a finale to a short routine revolving around the effects concept?

To be honest, I'm stumped.
And the idea is brilliant, especially about "freezing time" only possible through pictures.

You could make a fairer "choosing" of the cards though; why not just stick the watch-card into the middle of the deck?
