Where to get uncut sheets of gaffed decks.

Hey there,

I was wondering where I might be able to find uncut sheets of gaffed decks. I find that gaffed cards are more fun to look at and enjoy as a peice of art then a normal deck of uncut cards. If you know where I could find any uncut sheets(preferably the Ultragaff deck), please reply where and how much.

Thanks alot for you input,

I'm pretty sure you have to win a contest in order to get most uncut gaff sheets. Or, look for them on the secondary market (i.e., ebay), as they'll occasionally show up there (but they likely won't be cheap).

Good luck on your search! :)

Hi Noah,

This info hasn't been really released yet, but us over at Mental Playground Productions will be releasing a custom deck, and no not another "black" deck, but something usable with a standard deck of bikes. And with that, there will be an opportunity to obtain an uncut sheet.

Thanks for all of your input on my question. I did expect them to be well over $100, but personally I think it would be very much worth it. It would be a great conversation peice for anyone thats not familier with magic, to explain what it is and how us magicians can apply almost anything to a situation.

As for you Brian, thanks for the info, Ill check that out now.

If anyone else has any more information regarding uncut gaffed decks, or anything else that comes to your mind, dont hesitate to post.

Thanks again,

with the sheets you can expect around $100-$300,

i would rather just buy a good deck of cards.
Isn't that what E charges for their regular custom deck uncut sheets? I'm guessing gaffed deck uncut sheets, given their extremely limited release (as in, not released for sale, only through rare promotions), would fetch a far higher price.

Either way, I think uncut sheets look great...and paying a couple hundred isn't that bad, when you consider how much other art pieces go for (which is really what these are...they're art pieces. You aren't using them to play with). But for what a gaff uncut sheet would go for...I'm guessing the price would be quite high, so I don't really have any comments on "worth" in that case.

Either way, good luck on your hunt, original poster! :)

Yeah, I dont know if any of you had read this post over at Ellusionist but it gave me a good laugh :) http://forums.ellusionist.com/showthread.php?t=70299&highlight=Uncut+sheets

Heres the dialog:

Person 1:Why buy uncut decks of cards?

Why not just buy pre-cut cards and save money?
Alot of money.

Person 2:So you can frame it, and put it on the wall?

Person 1:Oh, so its a poster?
I thought that you had to get a paper cutter and individually cut them

I personally laughed at this, but if somehow the original author of that post read this, please dont take this personally. Im not making fun of you.

Thanks,
