Ok so someone has just posted a thread very similar to this one, but I want a little more detail. I'm a very logical person and I don't let emotion and other people's beliefs poison my own opinion.

I personally believe that Criss Angel is an excellent magician. Yet pretty much everyone hates him, saying that he uses camera tricks and stooges.
But my question is, HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS??? WHAT IS YOUR PROOF??

Sure MANY of his demonstrations look impossible in an everyday situation, but I AM SURE THAT MAGICIANS 100 YEARS AGO WOULD LOOK AT MAGIC TODAY AND SAY THAT WE ARE FAKERS!!! Things like TNR or Believe would NEVER work! But as magic evolves we see things better and what we think that could never be possible is quite possible.

Now other than this guy's ego, why do you hate him, what is your proof?
Saying, "Just watch his show" or "You can tell by watching" is not proof but a bitter emotional opinion of disbelief that can cloud your better judgement.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!

For love of God, please DO NOT make this a haters thread, please be curtious in your opinions and others opinions as well.

Sure it looks like it. And you never know, I could be wrong, maybe Criss does use stooges, but just because it looks like a stooge doesn't mean it is.

I've had people say performing Control is IMPOSSIBLE unless I use a stooge or some sort of gimmick, yes if you are a HUGE skeptic, control can look impossible unless you use a stooge, but we all should know better than that.
We should all realize that somethings are not what they seem.

Actually that one was a stooge. I forgot what her name was but you can actually look her up. She is a woman with no legs, and her legs were played by a contortionist.(spelling?)

Yes, I have looked that up, and after some research, that actually wasn't her.

Ok, but the point is that it was a stooge. You don't actually expect me to believe that he really pulled her apart?

haha wow. I knew someone was going to say that! Score 2 points for me! :p jk jk

But anyways, no of course not. Of course he didn't really pull that women in half. Let me give you an example:

I have a video on youtube, I perform "Saw" by Sean Fields, and I get COUNTLESS COUNTLESS e-mails saying that I used a glue stick.
I tell them that I didn't. And then they start yelling at me saying I'm a liar and they ask, "You liar!!! You SO used a glue stick, do you really expect me to believe that you really put thread through your neck???"

I then tell them that just because your method was incorrect, doesn't mean that your method is the ONLY possible method. Of course I didn't really put it through my neck and of course I used something, but not a glue stick.

So my point is, is that of course he did something, just because we can't figure out the real method, and the only logical explanation is that he used a stooge doesn't prove that he used a stooge. And like I said before, I could be wrong, he could have used a stooge, but just because we can't figure it out, we can't automatically assume that he uses a stooge.

One BIG difference...
Saw is performed on a magician, and not on a audience member... While Criss used an audience member...

If you know what i mean...

Everybody has to remember that the magic happens to the spectator. The spectator doesn't know that he is using stooges, or if he uses camera tricks, the layman audience at home doesn't know that. So what people see looks like magic. If you know the secrete to lets say a card trick. then it is not magic anymore. you have ruined the illusion. that is what is happening with criss. people are finding out the tricks and then posting them online. then the illusion is ruined. I think people like magic because of mystery, once they know the trick it doesn't appeal to them anymore. That is what i think happened to criss.
