Work in Progress: Need Input.

I'm working on a set of notes that could turn into a small essay about some of my thoughts around travel, working with other troupes, show and stage management, working with other venues, stage eticate, etc. More or less these are just observations I've made and some of my musings during my down time.

Since most magicians by nature are solo acts (I'm not really counting those that work with box jumpers or dancers), would any of these thoughts be worth something to the community here?

If not, it's no worries. I'll probably just file them away on my hard drive, only to be rediscovered some ten years from now.

Well, the way I see it, whether or not we use the information we gather from the essay should you choose to write it, isn't really important. But it's whether or not we have the information. I probably won't need the information you gave us in your "how to get gigs and keep clients" essay for a few years until I'm old enough to get a job at a restaurant. But am I glad that I read it? Sure as hell I am! I learned a lot, and it was a great read. We as magicians need to soak up as much information about magic as we can, and despite whether we use it or not, we still learned.

So I would say go for it!
