Since he is a 10 or 12 year old kid,im letting his ignorance about magic pass.
But I just loathe when 15year olds and up say the same things..

Let me leave you with something to think about, did you believe in magic when you were a kid? Because many of the artists crave that feeling, especially when they were my age.
2) Sligthly greater. Say, there are 100 people in the United States alright. Let's say that 30 percent of them know that magic doesn't exist. 30 people know magic is fake. They will call you as a liar, maybe not that extreme but this affects your performance.
3) Well, what is your definition of real magic?

Maybe that's because they type magic for sell in google.
The problem with making numbers up is that they're all bull****. Not only can you make them whatever you want them to be, you can make them mean whatever you want them to be.
I have a mentor who caters specifically to the skeptic crowd, and even though he's in semi-retirement he's out-earning most magicians and mentalists easily. So there goes your theory that skeptics are savage critics with glowing red eyes hissing accusations of fraud at you from between yellowed fangs.
I would think your definition would be more important to this discussion, since you seem to think you're speaking for the entire shut-eye market.
Do you perform just for children then?
Heck, children love to perform magic even more than adults.
When I perform for them their eyes light up and show me a trick that they learned from a book.
You can't just make up causal relationships whenever it's convenient for you.
That was a joke actually.
Maybe it's because I forgot to put the smiley face.
My definition to real magic is anything that entertains an audience that seems impossible. Real magic doesn't have to be scary "death defying" "heart breaking" stunts that people do.

First I need to know the age of the children you are talking about 1-7 years old? Or 10-16?
sixteen year olds arent children. Hence the word TEEN at the end of sixteen.
Technically we stop being children at 13.
I don't know man.... what about our inner selves? Everyone has a piece of child there.

Word of advice. Don't try to play armchair psychologist when someone who actually studies psychology is in the room. Especially not when you're just trying to get out of a rhetorical corner you painted yourself into.
I am watching/hearing the daily update. Should we tell them that this magic is fake? Or let them figure it out for themselves.
