Hey, I am my self opened a magic club at my school. Tricky Devil is the name of it and it's also my stage name. when you open your club, you must went through some kinda school supersiver such as ASB or so. I'm pretty sure that they will ask you to write the club's constitution. In the constitution you will list what allowing the ppl to do and stuff.
remember, magic club is not a place you will get free magic. You have to pay for it in order to learn it. This is what I said for all new member joining my club. You will too, because that is the last thing that you want your club turn into a place of producing bad magician and crime(and you know what I mean).
When I frist have the idea of opening a magic club, there are many thought went thru my mind. For instant, How am I gonna provide tricks to the new performer in the club to learn and the source where they could find more magic after they masted their beginner material? The answer is to make them buy it. I know it's sounds expensive for someone just trying out something new but hey, you get what you pay for. Explain how they will value what they pay for rather than watching it on youtube.
After the beginning phase, the learning, (the hardest part), you will have some ppl in your club have some idea what they are doing. Take them out and let them perform to other kids. Its might not be pretty the frist time, but they will learn for their mistake. Here is the link of my example performance for my club members when I took them out and demonstrate showmanship and misdirection.

after you have your first group of people know what they doing now. Then you will turn your club as a place that will improve their skill, such as discussing a difficult move, cardistry, etc.
When new ppl join the club after this process, have the older member do the same thing to the new member as you did to them back in the day. This process goes on and on like a tradition.
If you have any more question, feel free to pm me. I have been doing this long enough to know how to help you out.
