Too much fiddling around and really.. get a better mic. Also you need to SLOW DOWN. This effect can do wonders if you take your time with it and don't rush the entire thing.

Ok first of all I don't hate you, i don't know you... :p

Anyway, maybe remake the video if you would like, with a better mic or maybe besides the captions add sound over it (record yourself over the video)

It's pretty good, maybe watch some different clips of professionals that do this trick.

Keep up the good work

Oh and also, get a friend, either it be one who knows magic or just even a parent, where when they watch your magic, make them be as harsh as possible, if they see you mess up a sleight tell them to tell you as soon as you do it. It will help you improve.

Also, in the future if you want to make a routine or improve the tricks that you do, record only the sound (NOT THE VIDEO)... Why you ask, because you will see if you need improvements in your patter, or any jokes/remarks you can make to make your magic even better.

Keep in mind, you only master a trick when you've done it so many times, you no all the horrible outcomes that happen when you do it (Failing is good, as long as you learn from it)

I know this is random stuff just wanted to type it up somewhere.

Thanks for sharing this video... :p

Ok... You're still putting cheesy intros on your videos. A few people (or everyone) told you to stop that. At least it's not 'Lance Burton' this time.
The trick itself, at least it's cards. You need to have a motivation for every single action you do. Why put those aces back on the deck if you're just going to put them down again? Your audience does care, if they exist.
Don't turn your hand over immediately! That's basically exposing the trick to them :p Have some presentation, squeeze the card or something. Don't just turn it over and basically say, "Look! I didn't really take the card!"
Sorry if I sound rude, but that's constructive critisism, and you need it. Big time.

Exactly what everyone else has said. Too quick, lots of unmotivated and unstreamlined actions, and generally very fiddly, you need to get more comfortable with cards and practice more.

funny. youre conforming after saying that we're all a bunch of card handling idiots? or something to that extent.

either way, i dont see why youre putting this up. for publicity? you've already got a bad enough rep around here. for critique? why not polish up your performance before posting a video?

I think we hate what you stand for & your personality. It's like you're the current embodiment of what we hate about youtube.

With that said, the video is a sleight improvement on previous videos. Atleast the opening changed. But it's still nothing i'm gonna wet myself over.

I simply look forward to seeing if he gets better.

I don't think we hate you, I think we hate.....your personality.....

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm.... ;)

Thanks for the advice

Ok... You're still putting cheesy intros on your videos. .
First there is no intro in the video. I had to start the video someway.
Next you cant hate my personality becuase none of you know me. You think you know me becuase how I react when being attacked.
Apparently im the embodiment of what you hate on youtube. Well on youtube im considered one of the best becuase I have no need to edit. If you think im bad then just see what the other camera editing magicians on youtube do.

Thanks for the advice anyway.

But see here is what we do not like

We do not care what other editting illusionist do on youtube, they do not advertise it here. This is what we do not like about you.

So you think you are the best on youtube just because you don't edit your stuff? Seriously, dude... Most of the people on youtube besides a select few who are actually pro's..Pretty much suck major amounts of ass.

I dont recall claiming to be the best. I have done nothing but state what others have said about me.

I am actually laughing at the idea of being considered one of the best on youtube. I mean seriously you are just ruining the phone of magic. It was never meant to be about watching your hands.

Normally the ones I think are good who are pro's or actually very skilled amateurs are guys that don't just show the cards and their hands and even if they do, they tend to have entertaining jokes and humor that go along with what they are performing.

Tally you clearly mis-understood what that means. I said "I considered one of the best" Thats not me claiming to be the best. That means other consider me one of the best. How old are you again?

Yeah,I dont think the opinion of 13 year old youtube magicians and guys that are willing to trade effects matter.

here it is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh7nh_DiVuw&feature=channel_page

I added patter, but my friends camera has bad sound quality so I will a captions to it later.

Oh, let's see.

Lose the cheesy intro. You are not The Outer Limits. Title cards will be fine.

It's a bad sign when the cards are mic'ed better than you.

Sleight of hand was too sloppy and you seemed desperate to rush through and get to the punchline. The journey wasn't interesting at all.

Yeah thats the patter that came with it when I bought it four years ago.

Four years and you still can't write an original script? Would anybody fault me at this point for telling him to buy my book?

Well it started out like that thread. They dont like me so it wont end up good....ever

We'd like you better if you accepted criticism and worked to improve instead of whining.

Next you cant hate my personality becuase none of you know me. You think you know me becuase how I react when being attacked.

People reveal significant parts of their personality in how they react to conflict.

Well on youtube im considered one of the best becuase I have no need to edit.

Well whoop-dee-****! What does that mean to me? Being the best YouTube magician is like being good at eating cereal.

No one in the real world gives a rat's ass about how many subscribers you have, or how many 13-year-old zit-faced cretins are offering to trade tricks with you. That's probably why I choose to perform for real people instead of a camera. I don't need YouTube to validate my already belligerent and gigantic ego.

Tally you clearly mis-understood what that means. I said "I considered one of the best" Thats not me claiming to be the best. That means other consider me one of the best. How old are you again?

And what you don't consider is that you have failed to mention who those others are or why we should care. So it still comes across as bragging.
